A few months ago, I talked about Geekcon and what a special experience it is every year for geeks to come together, learn from each other through the building of highly complex and yet useless projects and… many times failing. Having just held our tenth annual event, I can say we both succeeded and failed in my mind. It was a failure because we didn’t hit our own failure rate goal for the projects. With 50 projects attempted across almost 200 attendees, we were hopeful. However, many of our attendees came prepared to succeed with their project ambitions. Some had been roughly preparing for Geekcon 2014 since 2013!
