Lots of people have made 2016 predictions. My personal favorites are Fred Wilson’s and Tomasz Tunguz’s set. The Talmud says that “prophecy is now given to fools.” When we look back in 12 months, I might look like a fool. Moreover, when reading my one prediction, I think many of you will say, enough Michael, you have beaten this horse dead already. While we started with the “get out of adtech” blog post in 2014, just this week, I sat with the CEO of a well-known adtech company who told me “I just can’t wait to get out and do something productive. The industry has gotten so dirty.”
